Ramona G. Emerson of Jonesport passed away September 27, 2017. She was born December 12, 1943, the daughter of Laurence and Hazel (Carter) Tucker.

She is survived by her sister, Kathleen Call and husband Fred of Harrington, and brother Glenwood Tucker and wife Charlotte of Ellsworth. She is also survived by her sons Michael Emerson, and Dana Emerson and wife April, both of Jonesport, and daughters Crystal Emerson of Jonesport, and Lori Ann Farnsworth and husband Nathaniel of Addison.

William C. Moody, 83, of Palmer Township, Pennsylvania, formerly of Wesley, Maine, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 in Easton Hospital.

Born January 18, 1934, in Orange, NJ, he was a son of the late Paul L. and Helen H. Kretschmer Moody.

He retired in 1988 from the National Guard, Morristown, NJ, where he worked as a military technician for 25 years.   Bill had also been fire chief of the town of Wesley, Maine, served as fire warden in Wesley, Maine and was a firefighter for Basking Ridge Volunteer Fire Company.

Kurt was born in Bremen, Germany on October 19, 1938, and was raised by Heinrich and Hilda Grewe. In 1966 Kurt moved to Toronto, Ontario and subsequently to Baltimore, Maryland to marry Angelika. Kurt lived in Tulsa and Mannford, Oklahoma for 40 years working in book and record sales. He and Angelika relocated to the Cutler-Whiting-Machias area in 2011. Kurt found the climate of coastal Maine reminded him of northern Germany.
