Beginning with the July 7, 2010 edition of the Machias Valley News Observer, subscribers have a new option on how they receive their paper. MVNO is proud to announce it will be the first small weekly downeast newspaper to provide an online edition subscription.

This will supplement the way MVNO can deliver the paper to subscribers who travel, live part of the year out of the area, are away at school, or have moved and want to keep in touch with the people and events in Washington County. Subscribers will even be able to order the print version for part of a year and the online version for the other part. Subscription ordering for the online version must be done via computer with a credit card.

MVNO’s e-edition will deliver the entire newspaper, complete with all advertising, to the subscriber. Release is simultaneous with the delivery of the print version each Wednesday. This subscription will also build an archive of back issues available online.
